Maroon 5 just dropped an excellent new song with Megan Thee Stallion that’s currently all over Star 107-9. Then, he dropped a really unexcellent opinion during an interview, so he’s just lucky that Twitter isn’t filled with people just waiting to clap back.
What’d he say? Howzabout this: “I feel like there aren’t any bands anymore, you know? That’s the thing that makes me kind of sad…”
And what did Twitter have to say about that? Here are a few highlights, starting with alt rock band Garbage and Wolfgang Van Halen, who joined his dad’s slightly prominent band a while back.
What are we Adam Levine? CATS?!?!?— Garbage (@garbage) March 4, 2021
RIP bands. We had a good run, but I guess we don’t exist anymore?— Wolf Van Halen (@WolfVanHalen) March 4, 2021
This is a pretty excellent analogy.
Adam Levine complaining “there’s no bands anymore” is like the owner of Starbucks complaining there’s no local coffee shops anymore. - Nelson https://t.co/cm1xoVEf9P— DREAMERS 🔮 (@DREAMERSjoinus) March 4, 2021
this just in: adam levine doesn’t listen to music https://t.co/S2MeVSvleF— kamry (@bananakamry) March 4, 2021
CAN he do that?
And, if you’re done with all that ripping on Adam, here are some pictures for you.
