Halloween is approaching, and it’s time to prepare. Decorations need to be put up, costumes need to be purchased, and plans need to be made.

To get in the spooky spirit, many go straight to their favorite streaming platform to watch a movie. But if you want to try something different, try reading a good scary book. Here are a few recommendations.

The Haunting of Hill House

Season two of the Netflix anthology series The Haunting of Hill House is out. Although The Haunting of Bly Manor is an entirely different story than the first, you may still be binging season one to get caught up on the vibe. Although it slightly differs from the series, the book is available on Amazon and could be another option to catch up on what you missed.
