October is the month for all things spooky and scary in Las Vegas! With our city reopening, it’s hard to know what’s open and where you could celebrate Halloween all month long.
Never fear, here are some family-friendly events happening around town and some open Haunted Houses that’ll get your heart racing.
Halloween takes over Downtown Summerlin Sept. 27th to October 31st with a series of month-long events called #DTSHalloweenSPIRIT, presented by Spirit Halloween. Events include best Halloween costumes, best spooky house, pumpkin scavenger hunts and a Howl-O-Ween pet costume contest.
The Fashion Show Mall is hosting a free Trick or Chic event from October 10th – 31st. The Saturday & Sunday only event is perfect for all ages. Ghoulish guides will walk one family at a time through the malls haute haunted house multi-sensory experience.
The Learning Experience is hosting a free drive-thru trunk-or-treat event on Friday, October 30th from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM. Visitors are welcomed for a socially distant event showcasing some of the best spooky ghosts, ghouls and goblins from the safety of their car. Teachers will be handing out treats for your little one. “Fright Ride” is coming to haunt Las Vegas! Step into Fright Ride’s elusive “Research Lab” to be test subjects in a fear diagnosis. Step into the cart and ride through the 75,000 “scare”-foot venue! “Fright Ride” is open from October 1st – 31st, 2020. Operating hours are Wednesday – Sunday at select reserved times to respect COVID-19 guidelines. Tickets start at $34.99. It’s located at 1700 S. Industrial Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89102
Asylum and Hotel Fear are the only Haunted Houses that had its COVID Protocol Plan accepted. These Haunted Houses has visitors walk-through 3-acres of horror at the Meadows Mall Parking lot, 4400 Meadows Lane. Tickets cost $20 per person and bought online. Each timed visit allows 4-6 people at a time to walk-through. Portions of the proceeds benefit the Paradise Ranch Foundation, which is a local charity that helps mental health through Horse Assisted Therapy.
Trapped Drive-Thru Haunted Experience is the latest innovative thrill-ride destined to scare you! The socially-distant experience is done through your own vehicle. Visitors are guided through a maze of action that happens around your car. Tickets start at $54.99 per vehicle. It’s open select nights from 6:30 p.m. to midnight until October 31st.
The Sand Dollar Lounge is transforming its bar to a spooky, creepy and scary bar from Oct. 12 – Oct. 31. Visitors can enjoy Halloween themed drinks and Oktoberfest beers. Four themed nights will be happening during the pop-up run. Customers are encouraged to visit and dress for the occasion. It’s located on 3355 Spring Mountain Rd / Ste 30 Las Vegas, NV 89102.
