Twilight fans rejoice! 15 years after the first Twilight novel, author Stephanie Meyer is letting us back into the story.

Meyer announced on Monday’s Good Morning America that she will be taking fans back to Forks, Washington with her new book Midnight Sun.

Midnight Sun, Meyer’s long-anticipated novel in the Twilight series, retells the iconic love story from Edward’s perspective.

The book will be available on August 4.

“I am very excited to finally, finally announce the release of Midnight Sun on August 4. It’s a crazy time right now and I wasn’t sure if this was the right time to put this book out, but some of you have been waiting for just so, so long. It didn’t seem fair to make you wait anymore. Sorry about the bad timing. Hopefully, this book can be a distraction from the real world,” Meyer said in a message to Good Morning America. “I’m so excited to finally be able to share it with you.”

Meyer has been trailing an announcement on her website since last week, with a timer counting down to Monday’s announcement. The website immediately crashed when the countdown ended this morning as fans attempted to discover the big news.
