Las Vegas has hosted residencies for huge stars, including Shania Twain, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Anita Baker, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, and more.

However, few of the divas have had the return that Janet Jackson had with her recent “Metamorphosis” residency at the Park Theater.

On Tuesday (Aug. 27), Billboard confirmed that Damita Jo’s residency “positions Ms. Jackson in the middle of a career upswing, averaging $722,000 and over 4,000 tickets per night.”

The publication claimed that the iconic singer, dancer, songwriter, producer, and actress’ pacing places her “among the biggest Vegas performers of this decade.”

Jackson is now ahead of “Celine Dion’s $704,000 opening pace (2011), Britney Spears’ $679,000 (2013) and the Backstreet Boys’ $593,000 (2017).”

Jackson ranked number five on the “HOT TOURS’ list that’s ranked by gross and compiled from boxscores. She falls below The Rolling Stones (ranked #1), Ed Sheeran, Backstreet Boys, and John Mayer.
