Don't Worry 'Gilmore Girls' Fans, Lauren, Alexis Aren't Set On The Ending Either

Thank goodness. Unpopular opinion perhaps, but the end of the Netflix Gilmore Girls revival was not cool.

Now, I watched the thing beginning to end on DVD's so I've got a right to judge and make an educated decision here, but after watching the Netflix revival, it was super lackluster for me, and I was very unsettled with the whole thing.

I'm trying to do this without spoilers in case you've not watched it yet. Which every Gilmore Girls super-fan should, but if you were a luke-warm fan (get it, Luke, like Luke's Diner), you might want to skip it for fear of further aggravation.

When Lauren Graham (Lorelai) and Alexis Bledel (Rory) both felt strange about the ending, which Graham actually told E! "That's not an ending, that's a cliffhanger!"

Bledel also said she was very frustrated with the end of the series herself, because "It's certainly not the ending I expected... I told Amy [Sherman-Palladino] I wanted Rory to end on a high note after all her hard work. I wanted her to succeed...so it was a hard thing for me to digest."

Lauren also admitted that "there's probably a way to keep these characters alive...I don't know if it's the best thing for them."

Otherwise, we still don't really have closure for the Gilmore Girls.

Personally I think they should stop before they make a bigger mess of things, but I'm also pretty harsh. If you watched the show, let us know what you thought, and if you haven't yet, proceed with caution.
